Saloon boat Elvira
The Elvira was built in 1938 to transport guests across the Swiss lakes. She has been sailing around the Netherlands since 1998. What is special about this boat is the panoramic view and the flexible design of the salon. Amsterdam has been the home base since 2016. The Elvira was renovated in 2020 and has more seats and a spacious aft deck that can be completely opened in nice weather to enjoy the fresh air. We are very proud of the result: more space, light and view. She is now even more suitable for all seasons, and can sail in all possible weather conditions. She is also equipped with radar, so that the cruise can still take place in reduced visibility. We can sail on the Amstel, the IJ, the Zaan, IJmeer and Vecht. In addition to Amsterdam IJburg, Almere Marina Muiderzand is one of the regular boarding locations. The Randmeren and boat trips to or from Huizen and Naarden are also possible.
